*AKA Rally 2008* - NY to Vegas - Pics and Teaser vid -
I attended the AKA Rally as a camera man. We were shooting for a 6 part Speed TV series. Craziest week of my life!
Highlights
Going 175 through the canyons.
Getting ran over by a lady while filming, her trying to leave.
Going around a track in a school bus.
NSX putting in a new turbo in the middle of a hotel parking lot, all techs drunk.
Watching a van roll over across 3 lanes right in front of us.
350Z revs making kids at a gas station cry.
Couple of us testing out or small NERF guns outside walmart, only to see the RX8 driver walk out with a tripod mounted NERF machine gun.

Got to drive the GTR!
As his motor is dumping his coolant for the 5th time, the owner of the truck decides to do a burnout over it.
Stuck at a dealership. Went to pick up wheel studs, power steering failed as we pulled into the parking lot. Drove the rest of the trip without it.
4 AM at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah
Yeah, cross country on a bike!
We did about 5k worth of damage to the buggies.
Drove through Utah in the Ferrari 360. The owner made it a point to arrive at the hotel first ever day.

I guess I could be considering pro...
Canon 40D. Sigma 10-20 for most of the shots and a 1.8 50 prime for the canyon shots.
