Only signs of rust are in the front fender area where I attached the brackets for the quick release system for the front bumper.
As far as Ive owned the car I've had the quarter panel repainted and repaired once from a hit and run accident. It was an insurance claim so it was done by a legit body shop. There are dents and dings in the car, and paint scraped off of a corner of the front bumper. These are all easy fixes.
I'm not 100% sure about the dropped valved. I was driving the car and heard the dreaded marble in the cylinder sound as the car slowly died and eventually siezed on me. I didnt even bother opening up the motor. The block remains intact so its not like a piston ring busted through it. For all we know it could be just a spun bearing. I dont care...I just want the car sold.
The car isn't perfect, but neither is it in shitty shape. It's a great project car and you pretty much have everything you need to make it happen.
