F/S: Black 1996 Honda Accord 4door EX Northern Virginia $3,700
After owning this car for four great years, I've decided that it is time to sell it since I will be looking to get an Acura TSX very soon.
Pros:
-approx 135,000 Miles (my uncle has an accord with 300,000+ miles)
-Automatic Transmission
-4-Cyl. 2.2L VTEC
-50% tint on front windows, 35% tint on back windows professionally done at TNT tint (not the crappy quality tint that fades).
-Body Kits NW Carbon Fiber Hood
-Lowered with Tein S-tech Springs (1.8 drop) and KYB GR-2 Shocks
-15' Prelude Alloy Wheels
-Front two tires are Bridgestone Potenza's (approx 75% tread left)
-Back two tires are BF Goodrich Touring (approx 85% tread left)
-Red/Clear Taillights (removed the amber part)
-Pioneer CD Player
-Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Door Locks
-Dual Front Air Bags
-ABS
-Air Conditioning
-Type R Grill
-Moon Roof
-Oil Changes were done every three months
Cons:
Cosmetically, this car could benefit from having a new paint job. There are some blemishes on top of the roof and on the trunk lid. If you are looking for a daily driver, this shouldn't be a big deal. There seems to be some sort of oxidization on the carbon fiber hood - I think it may be possible to fix this by using a buffer with some wax (refer to this thread on HondaTech).
The check engine light is turned on - I think the Idle control valve will have to be replaced - the dealership should do this for free since the car is under the extended warranty (I haven't had the time to do this since I currently work 60 hours a week - tax season- go figure).
Air Conditioning- At the moment, only cold air blows out of the vents. This might be a nuisance for some people who are accustomed to having warm air during the winter.
Priced dropped to $2500!

I'm taking the car to the Honda Dealership this Saturday to see why the "check engine" light is on - will keep you updated with the status of the car soon.

Just got back from Rosenthal Fairfax Honda. The reason the "check engine" light is lit is because the Idle Control Valve needs to be replaced. One of the technicians will have a new one installed under warranty next Saturday free of charge .

It did get replaced back in December at the Honda Dealership (it was repaired for free since it is under the extended warranty). The check engine light did go away for about a month - but then the engine light came back on a month later and the engine will occasionly rev while stopped.
It's probably an easy fix, but I really don't have any time to go back to the dealer now that tax season has begun (I'm an accountant - go figure).
