HID's aren't legal in the first place, but 10000k is just way blue, and just really noticeable that its not stock...cops will pull you over if they notice dem lights in blinding, stick wit 6000k or 8000k, best way to go and a bit safer from cop trouble...good luck

8,000K is blue and you're at halogen output
6,000K is white with a hint of blue. You are almost at halogen output there.

Not exactly. Even with 6000K HID capsules, the lumen output is still roughly double a typical standard halogen bulb.

4900k is at 2600 lumens and 5100k philips ultimions are at 2400.
aftermarket products do not give u a chart but base their chart on philips and osram datasheet without any proof whatsoever. Aside from halogens using most of their lumens to their max in a HALOGEN reflector, optics and light emission is different in xenon bulbs. So you're wasting part of it and that part of wasted light is what causes glare.
