K-swap w/ AUTO trans into non-honda. Need info
Hi all,
I'm looking for resources or information regarding the swapping of a k24A2 w/ auto trans from an 07 TSX into a non-honda chassis. I've spoken with several people "in-the-know" and they've all told me the same thing, "Everyone k-swaps with a manual trans, nobody has used the automatic".
The latest info I got was that there are certain sensors/wirings harnesses that are specific to making the auto trans operate. These could be, ignition module, dash cluster, chassis wiring, etc. If I can determine what the TCU needs to operate correctly I may be able to adapt it into my vehicle.
Is anyone familiar with these systems or know of any resource links I can check out to investigate further?
