Re: help understanding turbo
There is no easy answer. There are way to many variables.
Best question is: What is your goal?
What is the main purpose of turboing you car? Just to go fast? Ok, where, for how long, straight roads, race tracks... etc.
Also, Internet is not the best place to learn.

Re: help understanding turbo
Is it the Integra Ls? B18a1 b18b1 b18c1? If it's vtec there not ment to be turbo.... The pistons are too high compression which is why you will see b18c1 blown up if they are not build right. B18a1 and b1 are the safer engines to turbo. If you install or get it installed do not even try to drive it with out a tune. U would be capable of pulling 4-8 pounds safely on a stock non vtec b series. It is a long process of being turbo. If you plan for more power than 230-250 hp then you are going to have to jump internally with replacing pistons, connecting rods, block guard, head studs, etc...

I'm looking to be in the 250 range max 300 hp I have a b18c1 so what is my best options to succeed in 250 - 300 hp supercharger? Or just go all motor (it's a 95 gsr with 92k miles) it runs great

Re: help understanding turbo
If you go supercharger it's gunna be a much slower response as if you are turbo. I would do a legit turbo setup with a good tune you will be alright with ab18c1 stock. Now if you run untuned ur more than likely to blow the engine. Make sure to get a legit good tune before trying to boost.
