I'm not sure if he was saying $1500 before or after tax, but...
$1500 every 2 weeks after taxes and 12k/yr pre-tax into 401K works out to be about $60-65k/year.
Many S2000 owners with turbo setups have replied here. I wish these replys were the only ones allowed to stay...
Again, determine what you need/want (power, reliability, looks, performance, turbo type, EMS, local install support, price, etc) and then decide which kit best meets your goals. If you don't know, Full-Race, LoveFab, Inline Pro, and A-Spec tuning should all work with you to develop a kit (or sell you an existing kit) that will make you happy.
I do not recommend log manifolds (from personal experience), but Inline Pro is the exception. Their log is much better than a typical log. Full-Race and A-Spec tuning both make similar bottom mount/ramhorn style kits. The A-Spec tuning is available with a V-mount radiator/intercooler and properly sized Garrett GT series turbo for quick boost and good power. Lovefab offers high quality with many options for turbo selection type and kit design. IMO, you can't go wrong with any of these kits, but some will definitely suit you better than others (depending on your own personal criteria).
The best (IMO) S2000 turbo kit manufacturers in alphabetical order.

The original question was like me asking "What the best new CD to buy?" without knowing any supporting info. You could recommend a CD that I absolutely hate, one that I don't mind, or one that I love.
