Hey whats up guys, I was wondering how this all works. I'm planning on getting a S2k hopefully this weekend and I plan on trading in a 2007 Honda Civic LX Sedan for it. I currently owe about 5k for it and the S2k is around 20k. So does it work like this? 20k - 5k = 15k that I'm going to have to finance? I understand that it depends on how much the dealer is willing to give me. So if the dealer offered me 13k for the trade in, they are going to subtract 5k from the 13k and I'll have about 8k and I put it down for the S2k which then I owe 12k. Sorry I'm such a noob at this.

Just don't go in there expecting to drive home the car you are looking at. If you have to skip this one and wait til another deal comes then so be it. I have been S2000 shopping for months.

Also if you are not getting the deal you want just walk out. I still have dealers calling me and making offers on cars I looked at 3 weeks ago. I won't waste my time til they give me the offer I want though.

my friend rolled up one day with an s2k, i saw how he drove the car and decided the car needed a beter driver, so i bought it that day from him

Oh I'm really picky on the one I want. I'm trying to look for a low mileage 2004-2005 GPW S2k. But so damn hard to find. . But if I can't find one within a year, I'm probably just going to go with a Black one.
