Default Top not folding correctly

Anyone have problems with the top not folding all the way when putting it down? Sometimes it takes a couple of tries before its stows right. Going to take it to the dealer for a look see, but wanted to ask everyone also.

Mine sucks too. 2000-01? If so,

Check to make sure the windows folding right. Also make sure the middle support is folding back the elastic straps wear out easily.

I had the same problem on my 00 Ap1. (Plastic Window) All it is sometimes is the plastic widow as it "tries" to fold down. Sometimes when it is really cold outside, the plastic tends to get harder and it won't fold correctly. I just used my hand to help it fold correctly and haven't had this problem since (knock on wood)

It'll be looked at this coming Friday. Just a pain that crept up within the past few months. Nothing like sitting there putting the top up and down in the parking lot because it wont fold right.

Like stated above, make sure the center bar is folding back. I have to manually push it with my hand unfortunately. Go 01

Yes, definitely get the straps from Modifry. If you dont, just make sure you push that center bar back while its folding, so it can go all the way down.

The straps are the main cause of the top not folding/going down properly.

Good to know about modifry fix.
The car is still under warranty, so I'll have the dealer look at it as well a couple little things I've found: the convertable cover snaps not lining up so doesnt fit properly, occassional ignition/key sticking to name a couple. Nothing terrible, but since I paid 30k for this car and its under warranty, I'm getting it looked at while I dont have to pay for it....
