Default soft or hard top

getting a 2000' s2k and in perfect condition love how the soft top will go down at any time but hard top will not. either way im looking at over 1k so any solutions/ideas?? also hardtop gotta b painted formula red

brand new hard top will run you ove 2k, but there awesome! i love mine. and it comes off really easy. less than 30 seconds. but you need two people or some kind of lift.

What now???

Used OEM hardtops go for at least 2k with hardware usually. New is around 3500 but you cant get one for less from hardtopguy.com

I am a top down *****, so I have to have a soft top.

i love the hardtop but so expensive. i miss my miata days, you can find those hardtops for 1k or less.

if i could sum up:

roof up = hardtop looks best
roof down = soft top looks best
