well im 6foot 4 and am customizing my roll bar so i can fit comfertly in it on long drives and iv notice 2 of the bar for the rear down bar is next to the gass tank so iv looked for pic and could not find any wer they bolted them down so if any one could help me or show me a pic of thers that would be grate i dont wann drill a hole in my gass tank ow and its a soft top

I really didn't understand what you want to do. Are you trying to modify the stock roll bar? I'm pretty sure the stock one does its job considering its been tested by Honda. If you have a aftermarket one like hard dog or one for show like cusco... just leave it.

should have just got the hardog bar with a low rails and a seat and u should fit fine

i didnt want a hard dog cuzz im not gonna spend 900 on a roll bar when i can buy a cf hard top for 2500 i got this roll bar for a cf hood i traded and have to have it for endero race

thx ap what and sry havent been on but the blue one is the befor and i cut the center beam out and am going to weld it at a slant so i can recline my seat back and i had to bend the bar a lil bit so i can scoot my chair back i have 4 bolts holding the main hoop but only 1 for each side on the back 2 hoops and im afrade of drilling a hole in my gass tank my camra(phone) will not take pic of the back bolts it is to dark so if you could send me a pic were it is ok and not ok to drill or any advice would be grate(outher then spelling ) and i no my welds suck im haveing a pro do them i thought i would try befor paying some one to do them i failed haha

ow the ek is 2.1L and the hard top is sexy but slow and any outher cars ask about i thought id show you what im doing and what for its not for looks or to think im a street racer its so i can go to circut events and do thunder hill and orgon kart track and have to have it thx

I hope you know that cusco cage isnt approved for anything but hard parking and with how you modified it, I would trust it less. I'm not trying to be a dick but this is your life you are putting on the line. The hard dog is around 600 dollars and is well worth it.

agreed... that one tab holding on the rear bars just looks severely unsafe, instead of having 1 giant bar flying around in a accident... you can have 3!

That was a temp tack to find out we're the bars need to be and so I could bolt it in I place it is 2 tab and it is not a cussco roll bar and still 600 buks compared to free and sying u did it your self(if it passes) I'm not looking for the safest roll bar I still have oem roll bar I'm looking for passing it in auto x becuz on one track in orgon it has to have one in A soft top the max speed out ther is like 45 so iv herd I don

umm the way your wording this, makes it sound like you are fine with knowing you could have a giant bar flying around you in the event of a roll over. your oem bars would hold, yes... but your custom bars could be headed towards anywhere, including your head or another car!

safety is not something to be cheap about, if you really cant afford a proper roll bar, then you probably shouldn't be out there.

To be honest, for autocross you really dont NEED one, but because you want one so bad, everyone will reccommend the harddog piece. I'm 6'4" and the best thing I did to help with cockpit clearance issues in get a lower seat rail.

OP, your "roll bar" is not certified or allowed at any half-decent track. It is not a Cusco, but is a Cusco/Safety21 knock off which makes it even worse.

You're whole "I'm not looking for the safest roll bar" is absolutely asinine - the whole purpose of putting a roll bar in the vehicle for track purposes is for it to be safer. Why do you think tracks require something more than stock roll hoops?

I've never even herd of S2000s rolling over. besides the one that rolled down the hill and had the Cusco cage that broke and hit the guy in the head. You dont know what you are doing and could have a bar brake off and smash into your skull. I dont even think the cusco would hold up to the weight of the car.

first, i honestly would just take that bar out, sell it on ebay, and buy a harddog. As far as fitting issues, but a kirkley racing seat.. very thin, and low.. saves tons of room.

you won't be allowed on most tracks in a hpde, and i doubt your actually doing scca events, auto-x they will let anything in.. but this is just going to snap if you roll over and make peoples job harder to rescue you.

and i hate to comment on anther persons style.. but christ man.. you made a s2000 look like a 89 crx in a trailer park. I would ditch the multi colored rims, ditch the goofy sticker..
