Hi Ian,
they are 15x9J ET -15
I used the Compomotive MO's (ET0) with a 10mm spacer giving ET-10 and they just about went in the arches. I now have more tyre width, wider track and more steering angle to content with now so I suspect the arches will need a quick tug.
Just about to order up some 195/50 R15 Toyo T1-R tires for them. I used the Proxies S before and they were good - R is meant to be better again but we'll see.

ive ran t1Rs and T1s'on my k20a ek 205/50/15
the medium profile t1rs have alot more side wall flex than the t1s
and squeeled when cornering, they didnt grip as much as i had hoped for...
but this may not be a problem in our lighter weight ae86's and rwd

Re: (SleeperDC2_ZzZ)
Yep - its an s15 spec R shell.
Its waiting for some modifications prior to a VQ45 engine and a pair of turbos to be dropped in.

Hi folks, long time no post - slow but steady progress - everything is falling into place perfectly.
RunFree kit test fitted and modded where required to clear the garden roller spec wheels. Arches beaten by hand - no overfenders - done properly.
So thats me happy for the rest of the day :D
Goes off for splash of paint now - we'll see how it looks in a week or so.

Re: (Brewer)
wow, great thread
love the work going into this
must get round to seeing some of these cars in the flesh
i'm doing a S2000 engine transplant into a much smaller salloon car , one thing i noticed about the gearbox is that it will be very easy to move the gearlever position with very little work, i'm part way through this process
just a bracket to be made to hold the lever mount further forward and shorten the rod and outer sleeve, easy and no welding need be involved warping the casing

I did have a little think about that before I started - but back then I wasnt intending this much fabrication (obviously got that very wrong.
These cars are being done now without such extensive tunnel work - white boy .john. on here with the mint blue trueno has engine and box mount kits that work on a stock shell. Do you however have to bash the front radius of the tunnel in to clear the bellhousing.
Shortening that selector rod and moving the carrier forward would mean you would not need to cut the shifter hole in the tunnel which is cool
I think for myself, however, I am quite pleased it a touch further back in the car anyway - I have to have my seat as far back and as low as possible cos I have long leggies.
I prefer a more stretched out driving position (you practically sat flat in my previous westfields - much nicer for heel/toe and left foot access onto the stoppers) so I runn a 90mm hub extension. Hopefully this will work out better for me.
Also, on another note - does anyone know where I may be able to get my mits on a US/Canadian style s2000 fuel level sender ???
This is a UK spec fuel pump catridge
I have been told the US and Canadian market cars have a different tank and the level sender is in a separate catridge of its own. can anyone confirm this ?
My friend in canada supposedly just droped the s2000 sender cartridge into his ae86 tank and everything just lined up perfectly - I need to do this LOL.

Cheers Man,
can anyone confirm the US/Canadian Tanks actually look like this ?
The fuel level sender (part 25) appears to sit into its own little cartridge (part 28) and locates into the smaller hole to the left of the fuel pump catridge itself.
This is the only bit I need working to ensure the fuel level gauge works on the s2000 cluster.
I'm sure I could 'probably' remove the level sender from the catridge I have - but I just want the easy option right now.
