I'm 6"2, lanky with no *** and I prefer to drive my S long distances over my EK. I have TEIN's and NTO1's on my civic but the distance of the steering wheel with the seat all the way back forces me to ride with terrible posture. S2K fits like a shoe.

4.44 Gears, Tein RA's, Mugen exh, Hardtop and the ride is pretty quite. Im always with the windows down so regardless of the road/wind noise... I always speak up when Im w/ a passenger.
The 405 South here in Cali is BUMPY as hell tho. My car feels like its constantly vibrating on that freeway.

fine other then the drone from the J's 60RS. it does get annoying sometimes. other then that, its pretty easy to deal with. pretty comfy with my cobra suzuka seat (memory foam cushioning). drove it home from temecula without any problems (7-8 hour drive).

Lots of replies in this thread already, but I'll chime in...
I have never had an issue with long drives in my S2000. I don't mind loud cars and stiff suspension-ed cars. That being said, I also have a hardtop and the road/wind noise is reduced quite a bit. You can have a conversation with your passenger at highway speeds without raising your voice. It also helps with the sound quality of the stereo. I could drive this car for hours without a single complaint. Sure a plush leather Lexus would be more comfortable, but it's not "better" to me, just different.
At 75mph, I'm at 4,000rpm in my AP2 in 6th gear with OEM gearing. I don't mind it, but I usually don't go too much faster than that for extended periods. Maybe I'm getting older, but I also rarely redline the car. I noticed that around town, the torque/power is perfect. I also had an AP1 a few years ago, but don't remember it too much.
When it's raining, unless your tires are basically brand new (less than a month old), you have to drive MUCH slower on the highway. I noticed this with the OEM Bridgestones, Falken Azenis RT-615s, and now Kumho MXsomethings. I'm guessing all tire types are going to be the same.
It's mostly my passengers that complain. Too loud, not enough room, hard to get in/out, too bumpy, etc. Then again, I bought the car for me and I love it. That's the reason I got my AP2 after my AP1 was stolen several years ago.

Long distances kinda suck. IDK imo but i cant be confined for long periods of time in one spot. So after my last 5 hour trip thats the last time i take out the S for that long.

I don't mind it at all, and I don't have a hardtop. Since I got rid of my drone-happy 70mm exhaust, it has been much more pleasant haha.

Is it me or does the car literally beat the **** out of you. I have to stop about every 2 hrs or so on long trips. Interstate driving isn't all that fun. If you really wanna find out what the car was designed for, bring your S to the Tail of the Dragon (Deals Gap-Fontana Dam, NC) in April. I just got back from an S2K meet about 3 weeks ago, and it was ridiculously fun. There were about 50 or so S2K's there for the group roll out.

I agree, I cruise around 4300 in my ap2 on the turnpike round 70 or so. I love the ride, real firm but sharp wit turns. Really grips to the road. The bumps you'll feel but that can be fixed to a degree with new tires and other ****. I love my s2k.

My ap1 at 75 mph is about 3700 or 3800. I love the torque and hp around there. so easy to drive. I don't really find it uncomfortable unless really hot temp and back starts sweating

torque? They make torque? back sweating sucks especially when you are going over to get a girl and you get out and it looks like you just jumped in the pool...
