This was anticipated. However, since the subject came up... About how much ft-lbs/whp is the stock clutch good for?

Well if you haven't bought yet, you might want to look into the inline pro kit. Seems alot of people have had major problems with the lovefab kit.

Don't worry to much about probs. with the kit. Most of the issues were with very early kits. I run the same set-up on my 05. Just a couple of things, the 2.5 in. charge piping is only listed because the driver side rad. fan gets in the way. I would reccomend running a koyo radiator with some low profile fans and do 3in. piping. If you do the uego upgrade it will pay for itself when it's time to tune and you won't have joe blow drilling and welding on your downpipe! You definetly need a clutch. also, a thermostat and vented hood will really help. ------ who is doing the install?-------

Well... I was either going to install at JDMmotorsports and have it tuned by Jeff Evans of Evans Tuning or have Lovefab do it. Kit is $8500, but only $500 more if Lovefab installs & tunes. You can't really beat that.

The inline pro kit may perform well, but looks like trash IMO.

Most problems are all do to the install, although I will admit that one guy complained about the overall quality of his Lovefab kit. I myself have heard nothing but good things regarding the quality of Lovefab, but I have heard the horror stories also. Personally I would never turbo the s2000.

Why not go custom?

When I wanted turbo I wanted the lovefab manifold and turbo with the InlinePro FMIC and piping.

It's a possablity.

How about exhaust systems for a tubo'd S2000? I'm sure this questions has come up 9,312 times... Once more can't hurt. I was thinking Toda or maybe Invidia, but I'm not sure how well these will work with FI. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

If you want something off the shelf than you need to look into the AMUSE r1000 or the J's racing 70rr. Both systems are single header back exhaust.

If these arn't an option, you will need something made custom 3'' streight through.

Having Cody install it would be best. Then if you do have an issue, no problem. That's what I did. I drove about a 1000 miles one way but he was a 1000$ cheaper than anybody else. The guy put me up for 3 days free. plus I got to watch and help with everything. You get all your questions answered, pick out the pieces you like. Street tune and that ride home is great. Personally, I don't like someone installing my kit who is as familiar with it as I was. Then there like " you can't stay come back in two days".

That's pretty awesome. Tho I can't say that I'm to thrilled about only having a street tune. I'll more than likely take it to Evans Tuning anyway.

Where can I find a J's or AMUSE exhaust?

Only reason people have been having problems cuase they are trying to install themselves. If im not mistaken cody is only selling it as a kit if he installs it(i beleive). Id go to s2ki and read up on it more. There is a lot more info there.

What ever you do good luck with it. I wish i had some more money to put one in mine.

I have to disagree. I dont wana change the subject, but ACT makes some of the WORST clutches ever (IMO). I hate the pedal feel, I hate the quality, and i hate the overall vagueness between engaged and disengaged. Exedy, on the other hand, makes some of the best clutches ever (IMO). They're good enough to be OEM honda parts, and overall holding power isnt everything. Even turbo S2s arent really going to make a whole crap load of torque. The Exedy clutches are going to maintain stock feel very well, plus the feedback from the clutch is AWESOME. Back when i drove a civic, i replaced the OEM with an exedy aftermarket and it was probably the ONLY organic clutch i EVER liked. Granted this was a B series and front wheel drive...but it was an awesome over all product. So basically, Exedy FTW. ACT if you want the stupidest clutch ever.

Francesco - Thank you, but I'll pass. I'm leaning toward the J's right now. May I ask why you switched?

B serious - I to dislike ACT. I have a Clutch Masters FX100 in my Civic and like it a lot.
