Jesus all you people just need to realize that doing that kind of **** at that rate of speed is dangerous and stupid. you are just asking for trouble. "Fishtailing" doing what was explained seems normal to me.

Okay, today my dad and I went to the tire place and he drove it there. He said it feels normal but he doesnt drive my car that much. He said it could be worn struts. so we get to the tire place and I tell the guy whats wrong with my car so he takes it for a spin. 10 minutes later he comes back and says it feels fine. he said he took it to 80 mph and it handles good. He said if I wanted to I might be able to trade the tires for Toyo proxies 4. Anyways I still think my rear end feels like ****.

I don't got any friends that drive preludes. Yeah that's a good idea but a little time consuming. I might try it tho.

If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time... I've been through this same deal as I stated in my earlier post. I even took my car back to the shop twice and let one of the guys ride with me and in the end, it turned out to be the tires. I'd almost guarantee that the feeling will get better as the tread wears down some.

How many miles did it take tires to get better grip?

took mine 2 autocrosses, a track day, and about 2000 miles to settle down completely.

I think it will probably depend on the treadwear rating of the tires. Mine have a rating of 400 and probably took 5-6,000 miles before they started to feel normal. Obviously, a lower rating will take less time.

Re: (Type SH)
I'v just read all the post and I agree that the new tires will take time to wear down because I have that problem too...I put about 5,000 miles on and now its better....My car is all stock too!

Re: Why does my Prelude feel like it wants to fishtail? (3-2-1 CYA)
rear toe in=higher stability at higher speeds
rear toe out=allows car to spin easier and faster. if u feel like drifting all over the place, add some toe out in the rear.
was ur lude salvaged?

Nope its a clean title and never been in a accident.
Now it seems like its getting better, it doesn't slide as much in the rear no more at high speeds. It was the tires that need to get broken in or something. Thanks my fellow lude owners for your help, I really appreciate it.
