biggest mistake for me was not changing every single little seal in the engine while it was out...
cost me lots of time and frustration... i would repplace everything gasket and seal that exist in the motor.. it's cheap money and time.
and yes.. you need the full repair manual

hahaha I have a Chilton manual =\ but I've been leaving it at my auto shop class lately so I wasn't able to check up on it. I'm guessing the Helms manual is way better? Well I'll go look it up now

chilton/haynes manuals are EXTREMELY beginner. it CAN get the job done, but only if you already know some of what you're doing.
a real manual will guide you step by step down to the last bolt, and if you're mechanically inclined, you'd pretty much be able to do anything, with the proper tools.

kay I got a new water pump, timing belt, balancer belt, and the main seals. I got the seals mixed up though.. which one is for which? theres a big one and then theres a small one..
