I think all I did was screw it until you find resistance then add 1/4 turn to it and it should be allright.
If you tighten it too far it will snap....

Re: valve cover torque spec? (renzema)
usally most people dont even bother breaking out a tq wrench for those things. Just tighten till snug, no more or you will strip them and have to pull the valvecover and replace the stands. Look at how many bullshit posts it took for someone to answer this guys question. Its pretty ****** simple, just give him the answer and dont be a post *****. i saw someone say 7 inch lbs but in the helms diagram it does say 7 ft-lbs

the pic above says 7 ft/lbs, so just going to stick with that. Going to use the torque wrench, would hate to break one of them, such a head ache then.
Once again thanks for the help

I know the diagrahm says 7 ft lbs but trust me on this one, you don't want to tighten
them that much, they will most likely snap.

Re: (SKDRCR)
as far as helms go, I got one on CD of ebay for like $6 shipped. no flipping pages and i can print stuff off if i want to look at it in the garage.
for helms though, the haynes i have for my car sucks compared to the helms...pictures after just about every step!
