throttle response wheel/cam
tried searching, but got nothing.
does anyone make different throttle cam/wheels for H-series engines?
if you dont know what im talking about then heres one for my friends 944
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PORSC...Q5fAccessories
i want a new one because mine is rusty and looks like hell next to everything else. and because i actually would prefer if my throttle wasent so "snappy" and more of a exponential throttle to make launching easier.
my engine revs so fast after the light weight flywheel, A/C eliminate, and overdrive pullys, and i'm also using a stg 3 exedy clutch, so even for an experienced 5-speed driver first gear is like a hair trigger between spinning tires, or stalling.
if they dont make one, i may consider designing one and making one, so let me know if anyone else is intrested.

Re: throttle response wheel/cam
I've never seen one for Hondas. But taking one of the standard diameter and off-setting the pivot would provide a progressive opening of the throttle. I've thought about it a lot for the horrible throttle control on my lopey nonVTEC Hybrid's TB but never got around to making one.

Re: throttle response wheel/cam
I would just suggest launch practice.
This could be controlled through tuning I believe. You could adjust the TPS output and how its picked up by the ecu I would think. Any ideas anybody?

Re: throttle response wheel/cam
hey thanks, i didnt think of searching for "throttle rotor"
but the only problem is that this increases throttle response, i actually want to slightly decrease my throttle response, perhaps its time to start some fabricating...
