Default Synthetic blend oil for break in

Is it safe to use Mobil 1 10w-30 synthetic blend for a rebuilt engine for the break in period?

First 2000 miles use regular oil like 10w-30 ( depend on where you live ). After that 5w-30 Synthetic all the way !!!!

So it ain't safe to use synthetic blend for the break in? I just thought I could use it since it is not pure synthetic it is a blend of both.

It's not that it's unsafe, it's just better to use regular oil for the break in. Synthetic could increase the break in time 3 fold.

Yes, even though it's a synthetic blend.

Thanks. So if I've used the synthetic blend for about 300 km, can I still change the oil so the rings seal or am I in trouble?
