the blues wouldn't be my first, second, or third choice for a shock for use with lowering springs/GC's. you'd be better off either a) waiting til you have enough money for a set of AGX's, Illuminas, or ideally koni yellows, or b) lowering it on stock shocks until you do have enough money for real shocks. i know, i usually don't advocate option b, but if the blues are gonna be just as bad as stockies, there's no need to spend XXX amount of money on the blues.

Well I have thee skunk2 coil overs with KYbs..its lowered pretty low soo thee ride isn't that good, but when I have my 18" rims on and higher tha lude, its a whole diff car game..not as much bounce/roughness,but a smooth quiet ride, then when I drifT/turn fast its crazzzY baddass!..but all in all I would recomend this setUP,have to feel it to believe it

Opinions of Koni yellow's versus Bilstein sport?
They seem very comparable in price, koni has an adjustable perch, and the bilstein has a bigger valve.
Anyone ran both that can give an honest comparison?

Re: suspension (Lude454)
If you have some money go with agxs the seem to be pretty cheap and adjustable. I am running the eibach sportlines on stock shocks right now because I didnt have the money. and my car had cut springs before that( came with car).
I am planning on going with the agx's. seem good and not that expensive check out ebay.

just wait until somebody puts up a valved set of gc/konis for sale, you can get some good *** deals, and those will outperform anything else you can get....for a lot less $$$$....

Re: (mgags7)
you know what...it doesn't matter what we think. It matters more about your personal style of driving and your budget. Unless you're a professional racer, I truly believe that any suspension setup you run (unless it's ghetto as hell) will be a dramatic improvement over what you have now, and will make you happy as hell.
I'm not ripping on you, nor on the other people here (I know, hard to believe)...I just think that buying a reputable brand and having a good install is the best thing.
99.9% of the guys I see with aftermarket suspensions don't ever adjust them, so the quality (i.e. value) of a particular set-up is in the eye of the beholder.
Besides, performance is more closely related to the skill of the driver. I have no problem going faster on stock suspensions (cars OR bikes) than guys w/ full race set-ups.

Re: (syntax420)
i didn't know bilstein had a prelude application.
they're both great brands, but in this case, i'll go with konis just b/c there's so many guys running them, and happily so.

Re: (bad-monkey)
I found this on ebay:

I am also looking at getting new struts. My OEM struts have 140,000mi on them and I'm guessing that they could be holding back my car.
