OK 98 prelude cylinder one 60 cylinder two 168 cylinder three 170 cylinder four 50 now my question is the camshafts have some flat spots in them could that cause this compresson difference problem? or would I be wasting my time replacing the camshafts?

Re: serious compresson problem help
Sure it could contribute to the problem but you have other issues also. Have you adjusted the valves recently? If not then a bad cam would be easy to spot by checking the valve lash. If you have adjusted them recently then you may have miss adjusted them.
Was this a dry test? If so did you do a wet test? A wet test can help rule out rings as the cause.
You could also have burnt or bent valves, especially if you recently adjusted the valve train and you did it wrong..
