Default RC Injectors

Is anybody using RC injectors? I got hold of a second hand set of 370cc injectors to go in my Euro R manifold. However, the part that fits in the manifold and sits inside the injector seal is too thick.

They're 270cc peak and hold, low resistance. They came from a CRX, and I would have assumed they would be a standard thickness. They have the same size harness clip, and the top of the injector fits in the fuel rail with no problem.

I can only see different cc sizes of injector on the RC website, so would have thought they would fit

ya they come a little thicker. if you want you can bore out the seal. i just put a little oil on the seals and bushed them in as a unit and it worked great.

i had to bore out the rubber o-ring with my dremel (which was a PERRFECTTT size, btw ) to fit my DSM 450's, then put vasoline on the outside of them so they all slide perfectly into the IM

If I bore out the seals, the injector still won't sit far enough in the inlet manifold, as the metal that the seal sits on is only the same diameter as the seal. Does this mean that I need to bore out the metal to the same size as well?

I'll try and get a picture up later of what I mean.

I'd say thats prolly what you'll have to do. Once you port the area on the other side to match an h22 gasket there really isn't much material that would have to be removed to open that hole a bit.
