racing seat brackets
Hey all, for those with 4th gen preludes with racing bucket seats, how did u make them fit? I've got a buyer for my tan leather seats, and am looking to buy some direct fit red racing seats. I see they all say universal, more expensive seats sell adaptors to fit specifically into the 4th gen, but cheaper seats don't seem to gave that option. Could I purchase some prelude adaptor rails and attach any universal seat to it, or are they all brand specific?
Also, I'm worried about seat height. I'd prefer to keep them lower, so would it behoove me to simply create my own brackets even though I'd rather a bolt in setup?

I used a Planted bracket for my 89 Civic to mount a Recaro EVO seat. These rails have provisions for several different seat bracket types as well. OEM seats do require some fabrication to make them work as well.
I am 6'1" and this seat is a bit farther back and lower then the OE seat. I can now straighten my legs completely.
