question on the slave cylinder...
i know for a fact that my slave cylinder is leaking, and my friend said since thats leaking, that my clutch master cylinder is prolly leaking too....would that affect my shifter? like if i drive for a little while, and like if i go into neutral from 2nd, the shifter wont go back in between 3 and 4 like it should...it'll sit between 1 and 2, and like over the past 2 days, its become like really tough to move it when its in neutral, and some of the gears have been ahrder to get into....im jus wondering would the slave cylinder/clutch master cylinder leaking affect that? thanks....

yes, losing your hydraulics from leaks will cause that. When my master cylinder went i lost almost all the pressure in the clutch pedal and it became almost impossible to get it into gear. if you don't fix it soon eventually you will not be able to move it at all!

Re: Keep a can of brake fluid with you . !!
ya - that happened to me too - Lost pressurein the cutch -
It stalled once in the middle of the road with no clutch fluid - I had to crank the starter in 1st gear to get the car going then power shift it all the way home - sucked. my master was leakin a little - but I didnt replace it immediatly - the slave needs to be fixed a lot sooner. LIke now. Or you may find yourself stranded -
