Re: ::The Official Prelude 1/4 mile thread::
here is the video of qualifying at IREV where I ran the 10.69. its the 3rd pass in the video @ 1:02. I also ran 10.67 at summer slam over the weekend with a horrible 1.90 60'.

Updated list, down to 5 of 20 on spray. Yikes.
I know there are one or two 9-10 second ludes that aren't on here as well, but don't haev enough info to add them.

Haha sure Blake, done.
I am just about knocked off the list, might have to stop building Subaru engines and get the 2.3 back together and into the Lude again haha. I think I still have a full bottle of nitrous chilling in the basement, unless I can find some way to sneak the turbo setup I want in, maybe sell the WRX and keep the wife happy haha.

Bumped my times down a bit, still same position in the list though. But still the world record holder for the bastard B!
First run out my clutch decided to slip in every single gear. It's 2 years old, and rated for about 10ft/lbs less than I made on the dyno, so I chould have expected it. Oh well, new clutch coming soon.
So for the rest of the day I: was not preloading (to prevent clutch heat), launching a bit gently, slow shifting, and not going full throttle until I knew the clutch was fully seated after every shift. I still managed to run:
1.833 - 60'
5.113 - 330'
7.670 - 660'
95.79 - 1/8 mph
9.853 - 1000'
11.696 - 1320'
121.86 - 1/4 mph
turbo 3g. same setup as my above comment, but some more boost, a hair more weight shaved off, and a traction bar and motor mounts. Had the clutch not been slipping, I feel like I easily should have gotten below 11.4. Spring isn't too far away...

First gear I rev to 7500-7600, everywhere else only to about 6800-7000 due to top end taking a dive, for now...

No updates for a year huh?
Preludes dead or what?
I might have to drag mine back out in 2019 and move up the list for funsies.

Re: ::The Official Prelude 1/4 mile thread::
LOL. I was beginning to think the same thing! I unfortunately basically took this whole year off, due to having my first child (she's amazing, don't regret it. Family first, fun second). I did do some 1/8th miles events earlier in the year, which by the numbers the car should be going easily mid to low 11's now. So who knows i might try to hit MIR last event in November, otherwise I'll definitely be out in 2019 ready to make a splash.

Yeah not many guys running Ludes right now.
Personally I killed an engine on the dyno, so it's still taken apart, had a kid, got separated, moved back to Colorado. The engine and parts are back in Toronto, but the car is running a stock internal H22 for now, so no new #s coming even if I were to go run it. My SUV is about as fast and much nicer to drive haha.

I'll be posting faster times in spring. I just haven't upgraded my clutch yet, even though I raised the power up more haha, and am now dealing with breaking third and fourth gear.

I've had a twin disc for mine collecting dust for about 5 years. I have a few other small updates and I should get it out in 2019 to make a hit.
Personally ended up getting an R and building an all motor H2b as well as a million other things that have kept me busy, broke or some other lame *** excuse ...

Re: ::The Official Prelude 1/4 mile thread::
That's funny, I have a twin disc and scatter shield for the "future plans" on my car as well, just sitting in the garage at the ex's place. Luckily she doesn't care, and won't do anything with them.
No lie, a 640 HP SUV manages to eat plenty of money, so all of my other cars have been neglected.

LMAO! Yeah, I'm in the process of redoing the suspension and hopefully making another hit at MIR after World Cup before the season ends. Pretty impressed though my 12 year old skunk2 coilover (sleeves) on KYB Gr-2's were still netting me 1.6 60's haha
