Default obx oil pan

ok, now I KNOW obx sucks and everything, but honestly how bad can their oil pan be? its nothing complicted to make for them right? the reason i ask is cause i was thinking of getting one for my turbo setup and wanted to know if anyone has had any experiences with it or know anything interesting bout it

what do you need a new oil pan for?? just tap into the stock one

it cant be that bad, as long as the welds are good and it will seal with the stock gasket....

i mean, i like the fact that it's tapped and baffled, but obx just doesn't sound too great, call me crazy... if anything, buy a stock spare and baffle it/tap it yourself

Well yes its OBX - but i can't be that bad seriously. Maybe the dimmensions are off - or maybe it doesn't hold the required amount of oil.....maybe there's a clearance problem. Who knows......you might as well try it and let us know.

I will tap my own pan - because buying another oil pan isn't worth $220 to me.

If you F..kup the stock one than go ahead for the OBX. Otherwise tap your own pan just like Kingpin said.

Buy the original OEM part here and it's cheaper than that OBX one.
