Default Megan Racing Header

I am thinking about getting a Megan Racing Header. The reason is, I stripped my 02 bung on the flex pipe. I heard that the gaskets suck on these things. Does anyone know what I can replace them with prior to installing it? I am giving the car to my brother in law, so I want this to last for a while. Thanks in advance.

I haven't heard that problem before but the only gasket that migh be hard to find is the one in between the two halfs of the header.

Save your money and time. Just repair the O2 bung. I could see that costing AT MOST about $40.

Megan = garbage.

the gaskets that came with my megan header and downpipe were fine. on the flip side, the gaskets that i got with my cheap temporary ebay header sucked, they kept blowing out. if you need new gaskets just get some high temp gasket maker. it works fine, and is what i used when the gaskets on my ebay header failed. no problems since!

By the sound of things, he isnt trying to go fast, and instead just needs a new header. The Megan header is a cheap replacement for a stock header as long as you arent looking for more power.

It's still going to be cheaper/easier/faster to repair the problem versus replacing the header.

MEGAN is not Garbage.. It's just not a Tri-Y It's a dirt cheap OEM replacement.

If you're going to buy something, save for a Tri-Y

My economical advise, Weld the O2 sensor to the bung. It will work. You'll need to replace the sensor though, when you replace the header. Good Idea anyway-
