Lowering Suggestion
If i was going to lower a 96 prelude on 16 inch rims. What would be a good drop.
Ive found 2 sets of tien springs
1.1 front 1.2 rear
or
2.1 front and back
Or post your suggestion

Re: Lowering Suggestion
How low would it be? I dont really want to scrub on anything, In Fla we tend to have poor road maintenance, ie Pot Hole, Bad Entrances to businesses, Speed bumps

Re: Lowering Suggestion
I wouldn't go any lower than 2". Living in Oklahillbillyoma, you'll never get anywhere because everything is designed for pickups.

2 is too much for a street car......I am at 1.75" with 225/50/15s and have flat spotted my header and hit my cross member more times than I can remember.

Re: Lowering Suggestion
The best route would be Ground Control coilovers. You can pick your stiffness and your ride height for a very reasonable price.

Re: Lowering Suggestion
on my first prelude (4th gen) i was thinking conservatively like you and opted for the mild TEIN H-tech rather than the S-tech, if i could do it again id pick the S-tech.. the mild drop was barely noticeable.
go for the 2.1!
go for the 2.1!
