Idle Problems with my 97 SH!!! HELP!!
I have a 1997 Prelude SH, just rebuilt the entire engine down to the pistons! When i first turn it on, it turns on but when press the gas pedal it doesn't respond, it just dies out when i press the gas pedal. It idles really low when i leave it running like at 300rpm-600rpm then dies out after a few minutes!
I've changed the map sensor, tps sensor, the entire Throttle body, fuel pressure regulator, PGM-FI Main Relay, Fuel INjector's resistance reads 11.7 and the fuel pressure is 157. Even tried changing the ECM but it wouldn't even turn on with a different SH ECM, new distributor, crank sensor, IAV, anything else you can think of i bet i changed it! lol, I made sure everything was for SH prelude but nothing woked!!! i'm so sad!!
Any suggestions anyone? Is there like a prelude master out there that can save me!? LOL

Your fuel pressure is 157 what?? Stock fuel pressure is ~43psi. The '97+ ECU's have the immobilizer, so you would need the matching key and immobilizer unit if you swap it out. Sounds like possibly a fueling issue. I would throw in a new fuel filter first, then probably a new fuel pump and/or swap the injectors for known good ones. How long was everything sitting?

ooops my bad i meant to say 57PSI, i already had changed all those things, new fuel filter, fuel pump is good since its shooting 57psi. The car has been sitting for over a year now, the fuel still burns good i took a little sample out and it burns fine.
I tested each injector individually and they all spray nice and evenly, Whats the resistance in ohms on your stock injectors? Mine are 11.7ohms but these are not original injectors, they came off another honda.
as far as the ecm goes, i don't wanna tow the prelude to HOnda and have them charge me up the *** to find out that its probably not the ecm. lol

I would drain that tank of gas completly.... My lude after a rebuilt had this same issue... once I changed the gas out it fired right up... also befor starting it up did u prime the motor for its 1st start? allowing oil pressure to build up ect ect

The fuel burns fine, the fuel pressure is i high 50's, oil pressure is good, compression is good, open valve cover just to make sure everything was times right.
Does anyone the cc's or stock prelude sh injectors and the resistance in ohms???
