i need some advice...
hey guys i need some advice.....i have a 4th gen prelude and i must say it has to be the slowest one ever made, at least it feels like it. i have an f22a1 which puts me at about 135 hp and dont forget it's a SOHC as well. i was wondering if i should just make the best out of this engine and just hella hook it up or if i should just buy an h22!?!

Yeah, I agree....don't waste money on mods. Just buy an H22. Mods $$$ add up fast. Just get an H22 and go from there.
I have an H23 and I am VERY pleased with it...but no matter what I do to it....it will really never perform as well as an H22.
I know it is expensive but if you are serious....the H22 is the choice.
Good luck

Re: (preludechick)
Nick you forgot to mention the ASTRONOMICAL amount of money it took that car to get that way...... if you've got that kind of money, go for it, i'd love to see it done........ especially in a 4th gen..... but if you've only got a few grand, I'd say swap a H22 in there...... you'll be quite happy with that motor and a few bolt ons... plus its potential is huge...... or if you are cheaper still...... just some bolt-ons for your f22...... depends on what your goals are.....

If that is the case..the H22 is the best choice for you.
The F22 is not a motor you want to mod unless you have LOTS of money to spend. It's a waste to mod in my opinion.

Re: (AndyD)
well I did have a f22a1 in my lude before I swapped it out for a h23, and I had the f22 turboed with 9psi, and beat my buddies 94 mustang all the time( not by much, but I did). rolling and from a dead stop. f22s do have weak rings. but alot of people under rate the f22. NOt saying the f22s are best motor out.
