Yes you need a better ecu a chipped obd1 ecu with a jumper harness for your car which obd2a to obd1. And the pipe sounds like you will have to make a custom one for your setup since its different sizes from your intercooler to your turbo. And did you upgrade your injectors or anything else besides low compression pistons, and are these pistons for use with the FRM liners in the h22 or did you have your block sleeved?

Im not understanding you exactly. You want to keep the turbo kit on your h22 or do you want to take it back to a stock setup with no turbo on it? And are you 100% sure it has low compression pistons and a block guard? Im pretty sure Weisco pistons never made any pistons to use with the h22 FRM liners so you would need to have sleeves in your block to use them.

Okay well I highly suggest you find or make the intercooler tubing you are missing and get an obd1 chipped ecu to run your turbo setup. If your engine is sleeved and built there is no reason why you couldnt make it your daily driver and run less boost or do it at 10psi like you want to. If you take your turbo kit off and run the engine with low compression its gonna be slow and a waste of time. Or another option is if you have extra cash you can buy a jdm h22 or h23 bluetop engine with low miles and swap that in your car it will be reliable for many years to come as long as you do not thrash it. You have options just have to decide what you want to do.

Here are tow people who I trust greatly with selling good products. Just make sure to tell them your setup of your engine so they can make the best basemap for you.

Oh well my bad I never read that part where said that you were running an auto transmission. You can get an auto obd1 chipped ecu for your auto setup. I would know I accidently bought an auto obd1 p28 ecu and it threw a check engine light for the transmission lock solenoid.
