Default HID kits?

What does anyone know about the Tenon 6000k kit and how well it will work on my 95 lude? I can get it for $150.00 brand new.

Another fellow Olathe Kansas luder, w00t!

Just a bit of advice, I had an 8000K PnP HID kit on my 95 that lasted me only a few months. It wasn't an eBay kit either, it was a Techone kit that I had heard nothing but good things about. After 3 months, one of the ballasts **** out, and I received a replacement one in the mail. Once swapped in, the next day the OTHER ballast failed. Then the next week the one that had been replaced went out as well. It was way too much of a pain to mess with, so I went back to standard halogens.

The light output was fine on the kit, but I had the lamps aimed way the hell down so I wouldn't blind oncoming traffic. If you want something for looks, just get some cool blue halogens from autozone or something, because the PnP kit is not worth the money. If you want something for better lighting, save up and spend the extra money on a retrofit. Thats what I'm doing at the moment, and I already know that I'm not going to look back once I have it.

soRry to revive a 4day old post or w/e but thought that this was a prime example of retrohid vs. hidkit

i saw this pic in a listing for a "high quality hidkit"

notice that even in a PICTURE it has glare. what if this ricer evo was oncoming traffic?
