have you recently messed with any wiring such as audio? you may be blowing a fuse due to improper wiring.

check all your fuses,
if you have messed w/your radio you might
wanna check the illumination wire to make sure it's taped off
because it's a hot wire

does you high beams work? check the relay on the passenger side wall near the front, on the side of the air filter. it has to have a good ground, it was causing my low beams to go on and off

yeah, it blew a fuse to my guages everytime i replaced it so i figured it was a
hot wire, pulled the radio, and the electric tape slipped off
used heat shrink the next time

Random headlights going on and off, I had this issue, sometimes they would work, sometimes not. After replacing the Headlight RELAY, I have had no issues. Try that, I think it is a fairly common thing on the 4th gens.

I had the exact same problem and it was my headlight relay. I just took it out, blew on it and put it back in...and its been as good as new.

the yellow wire i believe, look for writing on the wire.
do you have a custom stereo in it or
the oem one, if you still have the oem one, then that's probably
not your problem

I fixed it and yes it was the lighting relay (headlight relay). All I did was take out the relay and bang on it a few times put it back it and it works now. I am goin to replace it just to be safe but for now it works. Thanks for all your help.

I am not sure, I do know that it fit better after I took it out and banged on it. I am guessing that it just loosened itself over time.
