H23a1 white smoke
I just got a h23a1 prelude SR 4ws, I love it but I've found that theres a bit of white smoke coming out of the exhuast. The muffler itself has a 3" tip. The smoke is white coming out about 2" from the tip of the exhuast. When I floored it, my friend said it did not grow larger.
I think theres a coolant leak, but where? Headgasket? waterpump?
Thanks
-Henry
Btw, I searched for smoke but gave me no results.

Seems like you have a slight seapage of coolant into the cylinder from your head gasket, white smoke is usually an indicator that water is being mixed with the exhaust gases. And as you have a slight coolant loss that would explain where it's going, so yes I think your head gasket is on the way out, you can also do a compression test to confirm this.

Yeah sorry I did mean a leak down test, but even in the unlikely event that some of the bolts are loose, it would still mean that the head has to come off and be checked for warping and would possibly need skimming. Then a new gasket would have to be used and the head torqued down using new bolts.

I'm going to do the head gasket change myself this summer.
You'll need a manual for sure because you need to take out the head and cam etc. I 'm going to do my timing belt and waterpump while I'm at it.
