H23 Stuff W/ H22 Stuff??
alright well a buddy of mine asked me a question today and i didnt know the exactly answer so I will ask you guys.
He has an H22 block with an H23 Crank and H23 Rods with Type s OS pistons
he told me that the pistons sit over the top of the block a little bit (havent seen it myself) and he is worried about valve clearance? can anyone help him out?

Re: H23 Stuff W/ H22 Stuff?? (95accordh22a)
Someone correct me if im wrong but... The h23 has a longer stroke hence the piston will go down further and come up further and since instead using h23 pistons he used slighty taller h22 type-s pistons they will sit out a little bit not much. As far as valve clearences i dont see any problem they dont stick out far enough but again someone correct me if im wrong.

^^ he knows this because he has measured your friends cams, knows that he had appropriately stiff valve springs....and knows that he hasnt milled the head excessively....
