H22A/H23A Crank Pulley...
Well, I have a real JDM DOHC VTEC H23A, but the crank pulley was chipped when I got the engine. For those of you who know, the H23A has electronic power steering, so the crank pulley weighs 4.9 pounds instead of 5.5 pounds like the normal H22A crank pulley.
Anyways, I ended up having to buy a normal H22A crank pulley because I couldn't find the H23A crank pulley ANYWHERE! Do you guys think it is worth it to send my H22A crank pulley to http://www.inlinefour.com to lathe the power steering part of the crank pulley off? It's only $100.00, and I want to have my engine's "normal" crank pulley back.
Thanks for the help!

There is no way that a junk yard in the US would have a real H23A engine there.
I'm not talking about the non-VTEC H23A engine from the 1992-1996 Honda Preludes. What I was looking for was a crank pulley from a 2000 JDM Honda Accord SiR DOHC VTEC H23A engine.
Sometimes I wish I wouldn't have gotten such a rare engine !

I have the same engine and my honda dealer here in the netherlands can get all the parts, they just have to put a little effort into that ( usually the problem)
otherwise all H22 parts are interchangeable with this engine. Why bother spending a 100bucks on milling of a weight so small on a relatively tiny surface ( the ps part has a relative small diameter compared to the alternator diameter) but if you want to.......

squirters it has, size of mains????? dunno, bet you can use a H23 (nonvtec)crank and regrind it to H22 mains( they are definately smaller) seen it done before
redline, I believe 9200 but dont know for sure if that's factory (mine cuts out at this rev)

h23 non-vtec is 50 mm...so is 93-97? h22...the smaller mains is a reason thought to be why h23 spin bearing so easily...im looking to stroke it a little and still be able to turn 8k on a daily basis...F23 crank is way to big of a stroke.

think you can ask the honda dealer what size mains it has?....and if you could get me a crank(not from honda, too much $) that would be great!.
thanks,
Vinny

any local machine shop can do it.
An F20B crank pulley is the same thing as the H23a one...you can get those easy enough
