Default Fuel pump/filter are ok, but FI is intermittent!!!

93 Prelude SI with 187,000 on H23 motor and manual tranny. It intermittently won’t start. The issue appears to occur when there are weather changes, especially when it has rained and the car has sat. It turns, but doesn’t even try to start. When this occurs the fuel injectors do not appear to be providing fuel to the combustion chambers. I checked the spark, it has spark. I’ve taken off the fuel line after the filter, it blasts fuel out. My check engine light comes on for about 2secs and then turns off with no code displayed. I’m at a loss, anybody have a similar issue ever?

my h22a doesnt not want to start but sometimes at lights the idle drops and when i go to step on the gas it wants to bog out like as if not enough fuel is bein pushed through the injectors but idk what the problem is someone told me it could be the timing and the timing is off a little but not that bad u know and it only does it sometimes not all the time just whenever it feels like it its weird

I know that my issue isn't related to timing bc on the days when the car does decide to start, it starts easily and runs great. My issue seems to possibly be related to a sensor, relay, or maybe solenoid that tells the fuel injectors to provide fuel. I heard that the PGI-FM relay can cause issues, but usually only in hot weather. Mine usually starts in hot weather...just not damp weather.

Sounds like your issue with the h22a is related to dirty injectors or bad plug wires. i would try some FI cleaner and check the plug wires for arc with a spray bottle w/ water. Do it in low light to see if you wires are leaking spark.

I disconnected my battery to reset the comp and the car still wont start. Does anybody know if there is a sensor that could be causing my FI not to work? I am still getting fuel to my fuel rail, i just checked. I checked spark and I still have spark too. No CEL on either.
