If your car is going down the street, then technically its moving.

You need to give out more detailed information about whats going on.

Was jist driving down the street about ten miles car was perfect. Got to a stop sign and it just wouldnt go anywhere. Goes into gear but wont move. Let the clutch out all the way and car dont die or turn off. Starts right up but when put it in gear and let go of clutch give it gas and nothing. Wont move. Leaking something I noticed. Driver side axel looks wet. But bad axel it should still move right?

Yes rpms rise when give it gas. Got it in first gear let clutch all the way out and give it gas. Rmps just go up. Car dont move

Sounds like clutch went out, or broken intermediate shaft. I broke intermediate shaft off inside of diff before, and it did exactly as you describe. I thought the diff went out, was ready to pony up 1000 for a used h22 trans to get me home, but upon disassembly, discovered the intermediate shaft broke off insde diff... 250 was much nicer than 1000.

it popped out of the transmission, you need a new circlip, on the CV axle, it will pop out just a little on these transmissions and the car won't move, check your motor mounts too, bad mounts or suspension issues can cause it to pull out

READ my post, look at the end of the cv joint where it goes into the transmission, if there is oil leaking out, it's popped out a little, push it back in see if it clicks. This has happened to nearly every third generation Accord/2nd generation Lude owner who has owned their car long enough, don't be running the car in gear with it jacked up, you will screw the splines in the differential if the axle splines are barely making contact

What I was looking at I think is for my 4 wheel steering. But still cant figure out my problem. Gonna have to take it to shop I think. Just dont see how it could go from driving perfect to not driving at all.

Can you actually FEEL the gear engage through the shifter?

Possible that the shift linkage bolt gave way and you actually aren't selecting a gear at all. It would act as if it was in Neutral.

That sounds about right cause no I cant feel it engage through the shifter. How do I go about checking it?

If there is no resistance then obviously the linkage is suspect. First look at the top of the tranny. There will be your two linkage cables attached to the tranny with a cotter pin holding each cable on. See if the cotter pins are still holding the two cables to the tranny. Obviously they should also both move the gear selectors when you throw it into each gear.

I see what your talking about. It has both pins in it still. Both of lever move when put it through the gears. And the clutch one thats connected to tranny moves to when I push clutch in. Confused

Its possible the pressure plate went out and isnt holding the disk to the flywheel anymore.

jack up the entire front of the car and see if the left wheel spins when you turn the right by hand, or vice versa. (don't worry if it's spinning the opposite direction)

I'm having the same problem with my b16 lsd. If I put it in gear and spin a tire the other doesn't move. In gear clutch out car doesn't move but speedometer and Rpms do. both axles look fine unless they broke off into the trans?

If your speedo is rising with the rpm, it means that your transmission is spinning. Sounds like you either popped axles out of the diff, or broke the axle/s right at the diff. Very common.

I pulled both axles off and looked. Splines looked good and inside the diff looked good. Should I buy axles and replace them anyway maybe give that a try? Also I couldn't get my halfshaft separated from the axle (d/s). Could that be an issue?
