Can this ecu be repaired?
Ok so after fidelling around with my car for the past few weeks, I learned that the computer is fried. I've been on the hunt here, CL, eBay, other forums, etc and it seems as though this computer is hard to find for my '96 Prelude Si. So I was wondering if it can be repaired or if it's trash... 37820p14-a13

Looks trashed, looks like the burns go through the board and across circuits.
Get an OBD1 jumper harness and:
You can run a P72 with Crome, Hondata, etc. and keep all your stock functions.
You can run a p28 if you don't mind loosing IAB, EGR and Knock.

Re: Can this ecu be repaired?
So no obd2 ecus can be used? I have access to a p72 obd2 ecu. The main thing I wanna know I guess is what can be used to move the car like now without tuning. My mechanic was recently incarcerated and I need to move the car from the shop. Would the p72 work but run crazy just enough for me to drive it 3-4 miles to the house. Then from there I can get exactly what I need

Plug it in, most honda ecus can run other hondas of the same OBD level. Mind you, its not going to run great, and it may be rich/lean so you don't want to run it too long that way. You do have the knock sensor on the P72 which is a benefit, so it shouldn't ping and do major damage.
I've seen a stock P28 run an 800hp B18 on E98 enough to get it in and out of the garage.
