Compression alone does not do much. Simply increasing displacement and keeping compression the same will do way more for overall power than compression ever will. There are a few h23a engines making over 250whp with stock bottom ends simply because the engine can breathe and everything was put together as a package......along with dyno testing using high end parts.

What you have to decide on is camshafts that will get the job done once you have your base sorted out. Then you build a bottom end that will compliment them and external bolt ons that will allow the engine to properly breathe for a given operating RPM that you are wanting.

The way to easy power with an all motor application is displacement. But you have to weigh the pros and cons of increasing stroke/bore for a street car that I am assuming will run on 93 octane
