Best Internal Mods To Increase Low End Torque On An H22A4
Anybody know of some good mods to increase the torque on the lower end for better take off? I plan on rebuilding and sleeving an h22a4 for my 97 SH but cant think of any other mods other than exhaust and possibly creating a longer stroke in the cylinders. Any suggestions? Before I get flamed Im not asking to be spoon fed but rather get your opinions on what mods work best for my goal of 700 HP and atleast 350 ft lbs Torque.

Displacement and stroke. But keep in mind if you want to make big power, you need to spin it to high rpm, so having a less than ideal rod to stroke ratio will not be good.
As per your question in your other thread on the 372, if you plan to run a big turbo in the 700+ hp range, it will not make good power down low compared to a small turbo.
If you can figure out a well sized turbo, good manifold, and E85, you can manage to get a pretty stout torque curve.
My buddy Greg built a setup that did very well, but I am not finding his thread right now, if I do I will link to it.
