Icon2 AC turbo car options.....or ideas

Okay so I took out AC a few years ago to fit the turbo manifold, now I want to see if I have any options to get it back.
Manifold is the love fab quick4 with a gt35 turbo.

Turbo sits right where the AC compressor would normally go which is why it was removed in the first place.

What options do I have to relocate the AC compressor, or perhaps relocate and install a civic compressor (pretend I'm an h22 in a civic and I want to use the stock system)
If I go this way what lines/parts will I need to get this workings?

Using the civic half size condenser would be a plus also.

Thanks HT!

Interesting project you have in mind. I don't have any suggestions for you but I am interested to see what you can do.

When I started my turbo project I was committed to keeping AC. With that commitment I had to make concessions such as running a log manifold. I am only making 325 whp out of my H23, compared to your 475, but I am running an OEM radiator, condenser, and fans. The car blows ice cold air even sitting in traffic on hot summer days and the hottest ECT I see is ~200F; just what I need since it's my DD.

Can you post some pics of the engine bay so we can see what your space constraints are like? I bet with some fabrication and creativity you might be able to make it work. Good luck.

I don't have pics readily at the moment but I will try to get some up in the next couple of days.
I have a civic half rad but I've just order an aluminum half rad for better cooling.
Also I have the ESP dseries alt relocator waiting to be installed.
Aside from that this is a 4th gen with cruise control removed also.

I would love it if I could put the compressor where the ps pump is.
I have no clue if AC lines from all Hondas are interchangeable where they bolt to the compressor and the condenser.
Ideally I would like prelude AC lines, civic half condensor, and whatever compressor is smaller.

If anyone knows the answers to the interchangeable parts question please chime in also.

Thanks

This is a great post, cause i also want to keep my A/C.
It is really usable!

that thread is mostly log manifolds. It is easy to keep AC with a log manifold..... I want to know what other parts can be swapped and relocated.
I didn't go with a log because of the poor flow.
already have a traction bar, slim fan, half rad, alt relocate, this is more about what else can be swapped in.

any other thoughts?

Is there a way to rig a system to run all electric? This could be a option. Issue reducing the size for fitment could be a issue......

The lines are not interchangeable. The fittings are different. I am doing a similar project in which I have a spoolin quick4 on order. When that comes in, I am putting in a 1/2 radiator and a custom condenser. My plan is to get a universal condenser: http://www.nostalgicairparts.com/air...denser-604.php

and weld new aluminum tube to the existing:

hope this helps some, cus I couldn't find anything on any of the sites...

Old school sidewinder would work too, saw a few A/C setups with those back in the day.

Hey! Esp, I just ordered a traction bar.

I was gonna do a sidewinder, but we decided on a mini.

You cant relocate the AC compressor, you will need to relocate your turbo, and like ESP recommended, a top mount manifold will help with that.

The compressor's pulley is an issue when you think about using another Honda AC compressor, they are sized for a reason.

too small and you can over rev the ac compressor and blow it.

Hey esp,
Could you just make a bracket the puts the AC compressor more forward?
Like right above the ESP traction bar?

I have the traction bar and the alt relocate is waiting to go in.
If I take some pics is this something you can fab up?
