Well after fedex lost my engine it finaly came in a day late.. everything was fine but the oil pump got beat up some..... F fedex.
And some pictures of the damage...
The block looks great and luckly i dont think the damage on the oil pump is anything major.

Nice build. i am curios about the oil pan though.
Granted the stock pan sits low but when i was considering that aftermarket one i read about issues with how it is chambered so on turns there was issue with oil pressure.
Just something to watch out for, if you stay with it i'd be curious to see if it causes any issues and how much more clearance you have from the ground and how much more room for the downpipe.
sounds like you are on your way to a great build.

*** man, thats a shame about the damage there. Put all that extra money into getting high quality parts installed by professionals and ***-ex aka fedx pulls their regular routine and **** it all up. Of course they are never responsible lol, stooges
heh, your interior looks like it got hit by a confined tornado!
sorry about your luck with ***-x !
good luck, and keep the updates coming
*edit* OHhh..the most important thing I forgot, about that oil pan too. I've heard the exact same thing as the guy above mentioned. Make sure you keep your oil level topped up because when you are cornering the oil in the pan will sit to the one side, and if its the side away from where the oil pump is...... That big drop off apparently is the culprit! <I"m aware this all is hearsay but it was discussed and agreed upon by more than 1 person, that those pans are a bit dangerous.

oh great! haha i thought i was adding insurance when i bought that pan. I figured with how low the new oil pickup sits and how deep the pan is it would never run out of oil.. I guess we will see. I bought another lude last week... i was missing driving my lude so i had to buy another i will get some updated pictures up sometime today.
Thanks for all the great comments.

Re: 92hondalude h22 turbo build nb-performance (92hondalude)
Hello fellow young engine builder. Im rebuilding my head this winter because of my leaking valve seals and I was just wondering if those Ferrea valves are the 6000 model? If not could you tell me which they are please? Good luck with the build and It is very nice seeing a prelude build thread that is using hi end/quality parts, stuff most ricers in my area don't use. I usually see parts on civics and tegs and just have to imagine how they would mount/look/or work, on a prelude hah. I have yet to see a GOOD and extensive prelude build on ht yet and this looks like it has a lot of potential

build looks liek it's going great. when are you expecting to be finished with it?
which hood dampers did you get from password? I need some and i didn't think there were any available for the preludes..

I used the DC2 integra ones, all i had to do was dremel the hood hendges and drill a hole 6inchs past the middle fender hole.

nice... i was hoping they would be strong enough for an oem steel hood. now i won't be [freak]ing around with my broken hood prop anymore!
I work inside at a computer away from any windows, and now that it's dark so early, it takes some getting used to when i open the door to leave and it BLACK when a few weeks ago it was still somewhat bright. i hate it.
