Icon2 92 prelude cooling fan issue

My fans are not working at all when the car is running. The car over heats if I set at a light for to long. I've jumped the fan to a power and ground, the motor works fine. I replaced the cooling fan relay with another from under the dash, nothing. At the cooling fan relay when I jump terminals 1 and 2 the cooling fan comes on..? I'm thinking I have a bad ground? Didn't know anything about wiring till this started , any help would be great

Default Re: 92 prelude cooling fan issue

ask for a "fan switch" for your car at any auto parts store and throw it on...it fits into the thermostat housing in the back passenger side of the engine..

it does NOT go into the outlet housing at the top of the engine at the end of the upper hose
