Default 88 prelude timing belt or chain?

My cousin recently purchased a 1988 prelude and was curious as to when he should change his timing belt, or if it had a chain. I told him at about 70,000 miles he should change his belt, assuming that he had a belt. Was I correct?

Yep, that's correct. Hondas use belts, and should be changed every 60k-70k miles.
