4th Gen prelude ABS Code 13
I have a 1993 Honda Prelude Si. Everything that I have done to it repairing wise has been done after reading threads on this site. (Check engine light, Brake light, D4 light). I have been successful thus far and appreciate all the info I've been getting off of here. One thing I am confused about... The ABS light comes on and the code is 13. The ABS works on startup and drive for a few miles, I know this because it has snowed recently, then the ABS light comes on at random, braking or not, and the code is 13. I read the trouble code threads and it only list codes for 1994-1996 preludes for the ABS codes. I have run threw the forums and Google the code many times with no direct answer. Hopefully someone can help me or post a link to a thread with an answer.
Please be gentle and don't chew me to bad if this question has been answered before.
1993 Honda Prelude Si. Someone swapped the 2.3 with an f22 2.2. I changed the ECU and took care of the knock sensor problem. Brake fluid reservoir was empty so I filled it and took care of the brake light. D4 light was taken care of my changing the TCU to match the ECU I put in and then I cleaned the transmission solenoids and the D4 light went out. This is pretty much all I've done to it so far.

It's seems like, main code 1, sub code 3 you're having. Basically, the modulator unit is leaking pressure internally or a possible leak at the rubber O rings on the modulator unit. Unless, you have a lot of time and money I would just leave it alone and keep adding brake fluid to the reservoir.

Yea the reservoir was nearly completely empty when I filled it. I figured there may be a leak somewhere but it isnt an obvious one at the moment. I have seen modulators are definitely not cheap. Would that be the way to fix it? The brakes are pretty spungy. I am doing the Vtec brake conversion on it this week with all new lines and calipers and so on. So there is no code 13? It is code 1 then 3? There was quite a bit of time between the sets of flashes.
