Yellow bike in Torque...
It looks like an RC51, has pipes like an RC51, sounds like an I-4. What the hell is it? Anyone know if I'm just misinformed or what...

My memory of the movie is fuzzy, but I will guess Triumph Daytona 955i?
Was it this bike?

If so, then RC.

the pic from marm is a painted RC. but it seems to be driving next to a stock car.........on the freeway.
and the I4 sound, most movies use their own sound effects on cars in post editing because the mics are on the actors and they get horrible engine sounds, so they add them later from their own sound effect library. that why the old shitty cars in the movies seem like they have 7 speed gear boxes and they are constantly up shifting.

or downshifting, I always find this really annoying.

I liked how they would travel faster than dirtbikes in the offroad terrain This movie makes Bikerboyz look like a documentary.

Re: (The_Head)
Torque was a pretty bad movie.
Yes the yellow bike is an RC, and yes all of the sounds are re-done in post production when they do foley. I interned at a studio this summer and got to see first hand how every single sound in a movie is rerecorded off of something else. It's up to the directors and producers as to how realistic/accurate they get with the sounds.
Judging from the rest of the movie it's no surprise to see I4 sounds over big liter twin bikes. The main character rides an Aprilia Mille and in most scenes you don't hear it sounding like much of a twin either.
Also, the final chase scene is friggin beyond description. I had to watch it frame by frame just to comprehend the amount of bull **** that took place. Then he leaps off of an exploding pile of motorcycles, sans helmet, and skids across the ground for 5 feet, and gets up with mullet-head's sprocket in his hand.......

Re: (nikestar4)
Hmm, I caught a few scenes the other day and I recall the Aprilia sounding like a twin. Didn't pay attention to the NSX, er, RC51 ()
