Default Will my R6 fit in my honda pilot?

I'm planning a trip and I was wondering if anyone has attempted to put their bike in a honda pilot's trunk.

You can fit less things into a SUV than you can a minivan, why would you even ask this? Are you planning to lay it on it's side?

Just a thought, dont have a hitch on the back of the pilot and only two of us going so theres lots of trunk room. I would never lay it on the side. Why not buy a hitch? I'm leaving for vacation for two weeks before this other trip which can include a bike for one week. So everything is adding up and I would prolly not bring it with me.

Im not sure how many people here have actually tried it. Just measure it up and check. Im assuming the bike is probably around 6.5 feet long, and 2.5 feet wide, just take the height measurment and then measure out your pilot.

i'm thinking i got the length covered, all about the height. From looking at the manufacture specs, i'm off by 3 inches short I believe. I'll do a measure and let you guys know what happens

I've seen a DR-Z400SM in the back of a Pilot.

If it's too tall you can use tie-downs to cinch the bike down and make it shorter before you roll it in.

Why don't you just lay it in there sideways?
