Stolen 2005 RC51 Bay Area
Just thought I'd share my misfortunes today. Went to work and came back to my bike missing. No reports from department of traffic as to being towed.
Happened on Front St. next to California in San Francisco between 5:30am and 7:00am.
Sad day today, I've had her since new. Here's a little about the bike just in case anyone in the Bay sees it. 2005 All Black with Charcoal wings. Zero Gravity Smoked Double Bubble. Carbon Fiber Sato Racing Low Mounts and PCIIIUSB powercommander. Custom Undertail with Intergrated LED turnsignals. Currently has Bridgestone BT-003 Race takeoff in the rear and BT014 on the front.
If anyone sees any parts go up for sale let me know, so I can hand over the info to the authorities.

That's got to be the worse feeling. I was in SF this weekend and parked my car on the street (metered). when I got back, the car was gone. Turns out I was a couple of blocks up from where I thought I was.

Sucks. Your rc was clean. I saw it parked there on an almost daily basis... I'm surprised to hear that it would get stolen on the corner of such a busy, open intersection. There's only 4-5 spots there and you were usually somewhere in the middle. My 600rr got stolen on Washington & Battery a couple months back which is more understandable because it's much more secluded there. Judging by your bike and reaction you had comprehensive so hopefully your insurance is as good as mine was.

Just read that it happened between 5:30 and 7am which is much more believable because it's pretty quiet that early in the morning... I usually saw it around 8am when the streets are filled with everyone going to work. What are you thinking about getting now?

Sorry to hear man. Hopefully you can find it or insurance pays quickly.
At least you didn't got robbed at gunpoint or got shot. That's how it is down here regarding bike theft.

Yea full insurance coverage. Bike was locked up with disc lock. Kinda hurt filling out the affidavits of theft. Just waiting on insurance now. As far as what is next....hmmmm maybe another RC, but this time I'll tear her down and build her like I do my cars.

Talking about the worst feeling....I think it really sunk in when I had to ride BART back home with all my gear and keys to the bike in my pocket.
