Default open headers

what will result from running a fuel injected bike open header with no power comander or anythin? i kno that with a carb bike u would need to re jet it to richen the mixture. but would a stock ecu be able to correct the mixture enough to save the motor? any help would be great...

hearing loss...
There is a way to richen or lean out without the use of a pc on an 03-04 R6. Not sure for an F4i though. I'll check later... need sleep.

actually its not that bad. everyone around me cant here **** when i go full throttle... im just curious if it will lean out too much and tear the motor apart. im gunna rebuild the motor if i go turbo, but im just wonderin otherwise.

you run a really good chance of melting pistons - there is no performance gain to running headers only on a modern sportbike

I doubt he'll melt a piston, but he most likely will mess up his valves. Also going deaf and being extremely dirty when he gets off his bike. Open header on a sportbike.....thats got to be one of the most idiotic things i've heard in a while.
Wait nm....this is the f4i turbo guy hahaha. 2nd most idiotic thing.
